Remembering Our Beloved Pets:

For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.
On this golden land, they wait and they play,
Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.

No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,
For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.
Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,
Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.

- Excerpt from the "Rainbow Bridge" (inspired by a Norse Legend)

Although you are gone, you shall not be forgotten...

Sassy

Pebbles
Pebbles was the daughter of Betty and the siblings of Bam Bam, Barney and Dino. They went as a family to be spayed and neutered on Thur Oct 16th. All of the surgeries went well but Pebbles passed away from a cardiac arrest shortly after her surgery. We are so sad to have lost our sweet little girl. She was the first to come running to you for a cuddle. The first to purr and tell us thank you for saving her family. She will be grately missed.

Allie
Allie was the sweetest kitty I have ever known. She loved people and she loved to be by people. She really enjoyed spending her time sleeping on our bed, sunning herself. Allie had a rough life, but after 12 years she found our family and she made us happy. When she came to Safe Haven she had rotten teeth and bad respiratory problems. After having some teeth pulled she came to live with my family and recover. We fell in love with her and enjoyed every second we had with her. Although we only had her for a year and a half she will be remembered forever. Allie is now over the Rainbow Bridge with her best friend and roommate Charlie waiting for us to join her. We love you Allie!

Charlie
There is so much to say about Charlie. He had enough personality for 10 cats. His meow's were his most famous characteristic. If he wasn't meowing he was hunting you down for lots of pets. As with his buddy Allie, he was an important part of our family. Charlie was not wanted by his previous owners and discarded like he didn't matter. We took him in knowing that he had issues. We had a good year and a half with Charlie before we had to make the horrible decision to put him down. Even with surgery to remove his bladder stones, he never recovered from his bladder infections. We didn't want him to suffer anymore. He is now over the Rainbow Bridge with his friend and roommate Allie, resting peacefully without pain. We miss you buddy!!!
