Sage 105lbs of 3yr old puppy that thinks he is a lap dog! He is a Shepard Husky mix. Sage is house broken, and loves everyone. He is good with other dogs and cats inside, but his owner would not trust him outside with cats or small dogs. Sage loves to run, so he needs a large fenced area with at least a 5 foot fence and would prefer another larger dog to keep him company. He currently has about an acre of pen and 2 other siblings. He must be penned or on leash outside or he will take off.
Sage is very affectionate and doesn't realize how big he is so he needs someone who can handle him physically. He would not be good with small children just because he can be pretty rambunctious and could run them over. Sage learns quick and is very treat driven, knows his commands and obeys them when he feels like it. A training class would be great for him. A spray bottle of water gets his attention immediately. Currently his owner is gone 10 hrs a day and only occasionally does he have an accident.
