Description:
My name is Toni. I live in Newton, IA. My eldest son has been housing a 3 yr old male pit for a friend of his for the past 6 months. She had to move back in with her parents after loosing a job, returning to school and her parents would not allow a dog in their home. Yogi is a large dog, very loving, very playful. Gets along well with other dogs, young and old. House broke. Loves to run the house but does well when extended periods of time in kennel if necessary. Doesnt leave the yard when allowed out to do his business. Likes to retrieve (needs a bit of training on the release part) Entertains himself easily too, so isnt needy. The owner has stated that she wants my son and I to help her locate a new home for her dog. She would like him to be in Iowa to visit if the new owners would allow (hasnt been great about visiting and we all live in Newton? - rather sad for Yogi, he does miss his mommy but has adapted very well to the situation..)
