Safe Haven of Iowa County

Due to health issues, the loving owner of these cats is looking to rehome them.

Scooter is a black “long haired” male cat, age 3, and is described as “loving." Spot  (small picture below) is a white, short-haired female cat, age 3, who is also described as “loving and friendly."  Spot is deaf but is very astute to her surroundings.  Scooter and Spot need to be placed in a home together. According to their owner, “Scooter and Spot are a packaged deal." They adore each other, spend most of their days near each other."

The cats have been spayed/neutered, have their rabies vaccinations up to date and are indoor cats. They have an established veterinarian in the Oxford/Williamsburg area.  

 
The cats eat dry Meow Mix (a mixture of Hairball control and Original). Their owner keeps bowls of the dry mix out for the cats to enjoy throughout the day whenever they are hungry.  They also enjoy a spoonful of wet Friskies “Ocean White fish and Tuna in sauce” in the morning and in the evening.  

The litter is Tidy Cats “Scoop for Multiple Cats."
 
Scooter and Spot enjoy squeaky mouse and ball toys. They are “good with kids."  The owner also had a black lab in her home up until very recently, so you can rest assured that these cats tolerate interactions with dogs as well!
