Andre is house-broken, has always lived indoors and is very good about the potty-training. Current owner is willing to bring him up-to-date on shots and heartworm testing. He has only had the dog for a short time as a favor to a friend, but finds he does not have time to devote to this very affectionate and gentle dog. He so good around his 3 year old son, but Andre is as tall as the boy, so sometimes the boy gets knocked down when Andre is playing near him. He has been around other dogs and does fine with them. He has not really been exposed to cats. He is not an Alpha dog around others; he is very passive. Current owner knows of no bite history or any signs of aggression. As for separation anxiety owner says he has never torn anything up. If owner leaves him in the house to free-roam for more than a few hours, he might potty. Owner believes this is because Andre doesn't want left alone, but when he is in the mudroom, he is just fine.Andre is super affectionate! He will sit in front of visitors so they pet him. He is a major leaner/cuddler and will follow owner from room to room. He is kind of an attention-hound. For this reason the current owner feels he is not being very fair to Andre with his busy life schedule that keeps him away from home 12+ hours a day.
