Meet Piper! This big loveable gal was surendered to our care as her previous owner was moving and not able to take her along with. Piper came to us with her canine sister, Judy. These two are not a bonded pair - they are available to be adopted into seperate homes as Piper was more recently added to the home. Piper lived outside - she was a protector & guardian dog all times of the day. She has been around some livestock. Since being at Safe Haven, she seems to be enjoying the A/C and fans - maybe beginning to like the indoors after never experiencing this before?! Upon her arrival, she had numerous burrs and mats coating her body. With lots of patience, we have worked lots of this out of her fur with hopes of giving her a bath before she heads to her new forever home. Piper has been brought up-to-date on her vaccinations, has been microchipped, examined by a Veterinarian, and is ready to begin her search for her new forever home!
