Take a look at this sweet gal - her name is Blue 20-20!
Blue 20-20 came to Safe Haven with her two little boys, Benny and Eddie. The two young boys and their mother were raised in a home setting of a retired breeder - unfortunately due to some health issues of the previous owner, none of these cuties were well socialized. Upon arrival, they were all very nervous and spent most of their first couple days hiding and running from the sight and sounds of their new surroundings. After a few days, with patience and consistency her two boys have began to come around and come out of their shells. Mama seems to be more timid and would rather spend her time in bed curled up watching the boys play -- which probably wears her out!! They have all been under our care at the shelter for a couple weeks now and have already come quite along ways! They have all been going outside on walks (with a harness) and have become curious with the outdoors. Mama really enjoys her outside time and walks, she is on a mission while walking! They will require lots of patience and extra love in order for them to continue to grow and learn - housetraining, playing, snuggling, leash walking, obedience, etc. are all skills that these little ones will need patience with as these are all new things!
