Safe Haven of Iowa County

Archie is a sweet puppy, that came to Safe Haven with 3 other dogs (all are a Lab/Husky/German Shepherd mix)  from a family going through a divorce and needing to find a safe place for their 4 dogs.  Archie is a 4 month old puppy and he loves everyone he meets! 

An indeal home for Archie will be patient and loving, while building the foundation of a great relationship with him.  As with any new dog, we strongly encourage a family to take a beginner obedience class with their new dog.  Helping Archie learn and build confidence will help hin grow into the great dog we know he can be.  Archie is still a puppy, so he will need continued work on house-training - which is easiest if his new family doesn't have to leave him alone for long periods of time.
