Clover and her 3 littermates came to Safe Haven after a local family reached out to us and asked for help. This family had a friend that asked to stay with them briefly, and brought his puppies along - unfortunately the friend left the state and left the puppies behind. The family knew Safe Haven would get the puppies vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed/neutered and get them on track for a long healthy life with their forever families!
The mother of the puppies was reported to be a brindle Boxer mix and the father is guessed as a Lab mix.
Clover is a typical adorable puppy (14 weeks old) that loves attention and to run and play. Volunteers at Safe Haven especially love her spots - there are a couple on her head and one on her back that are brindle in color - very unique :) Clover will need a family that can commit to continue proper socialization and also all the work that goes into house-training a puppy, which requires a lot of patience and persistence with working on a schedule, as puppies need to be taken outside frequently - as often as every 4 hours in the beginning. So an ideal home for these puppies will be one where they won't have long periods of time during the day spent alone, so they can have the best chance of successful housetraining and have years of wonderful love and devotion to focus on!
