Description:
Bean and his 3 littermates were rescued in Texas, and flown to Iowa by volunteer pilots, who donate their time and aircraft rescuing animals and helping them find their way to less crowded shelters in the Midwest.
Bean's mother was a Rat Terrier mix (photo down below)and the father was possibly a Chihuahua (???) ....however that guessing game is always a fun game! The original owner would not give up the mother, however he did agree to have her spayed so there will be no more unwanted puppies born to her! We have also posted a group photo down below of all 4 puppies, and Bean is on the far left in the photo. Of all the puppies Bean is the smallest and looks the most like a Chihuahua - and his little spunky personality fits him to a tee! He likes to think he is the boss of the litter and has no idea that he is a tiny little fella!
Bean is a typical adorable puppy (11 weeks old) that loves to run and play, but needs a family that can also commit to working on house-training, which requires a lot of patience and persistence with working on a schedule, as puppies need to be taken outside frequently - as often as every 4 hours in the beginning. So an ideal home for these puppies will be one where they won't have long periods of time during the day spent alone, so they can have the best chance of successful housetraining and have years of wonderful love and devotion to focus on!
