Description:
Other Pictures of Bonnie (click to see larger version):Bonnie is a young adult Lab mix that was found as a stray near Parnell and was in pretty rough shape when she came in to Safe Haven. She has just finished nursing a litter of puppies, and she was very under nourished, her coat was very sparse, and she was covered in fleas and even had several larger open wounds that needed immediate vet care. After a month of nursing her back to health, she is now looking good and is up for adoption! Bonnie seems to love everyone she meets, and knows a few simple commands. She does tend to want to be the "top dog" in her relationships with other dogs - and since she came in with Bo, she does seem to get along with him okay - but at times she gets a little too carried away and becomes a bit too aggressive with Bo. So we aren't for sure how well she would do with other dogs, and wonder if a home where she is the only dog may be the best match for her.
