Remembering Our Beloved Pets:

For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.
On this golden land, they wait and they play,
Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.

No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,
For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.
Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,
Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.

- Excerpt from the "Rainbow Bridge" (inspired by a Norse Legend)

Although you are gone, you shall not be forgotten...

Otis
Poor Otis - We felt so badly for him. Came in as a stray so terrified. He was estimated to be over 15 years old, deaf and blind and was impossible for even the vets to medicate him for a severe urinary condition that left his beautiful white hair stained from urine. We knew he was suffering and we couldn't make him better so the only humane thing to do was to euthanize him. We would have fought to the end but not even the vets could give him the daily medication he needed. Otis is no longer suffering from pain and fear! That is a blessing.

Pandora
Pandora was rescued at only a few months old with her sister Hera as strays. She had a wonderful life with the best of the best until she turned 3 1/2 years old and died from Feline Leukemia. Her life was blessed and she was truly loved. To lose her at such a young age was devestating but she taught her family how to live, love and laugh. For that they will be forever grateful. Pandora now resides at the Safe Haven Memorial Garden next to her sister Hera who passed away only 9 months before her. She will watch over us standing next to Hera from the Rainbow Bridge.

Chico

Rusty
As an older gentleman with numerous health concerns, Rusty was bought to us and became a valued member of our family. With a special place in Theresa's heart he became her gaurdian. They slept together every night and no one could get to Theresa without him knowing it. The bond they shared was important to them both, and was critical at the end. Theresa was with him when he passed into his next life and is comforted knowing he is there....................

Simon
Simon was only with us for one day before he had to be euthanized. Blind and deaf from a blunt force trauma he was also severly underweight (weighed 4 lbs as a full adult male) and dehydrated. He was so ill that the only thing we could do for him was to humanely euthanize him. Lost but never forgotten.
