Safe Haven of Iowa County

Meet Garth - the most unique cat currently calling Safe Haven home!  This fella came to us as a part of a trap/neuter/release program.  However, when we got a look at his right ear we knew something had to be done.   The ear was hardly hanging there - as if it had been ripped off - and he needed attention and stitches.   Since he was needing the stitches removed and some aftercare there was no possible way we could release him immediately after his neuter.   So, he has stayed with us and has turned into the biggest lover in the cat havens.

He has beautiful markings and looks to be part Siamese - even has those baby blue eyes!  It is hard to imagine what all Garth has been through in his life, but we are finding that he may enjoy being an only kitty in his forever home.  If you are looking for a cat that surely has a story to tell, Garth is the cat for you!
