Description:
Other Pictures of Bear (click to see larger version):Bear is a large yellow Labrador Retriever, or perhaps a mix of yellow Lab and some larger breed. He is a very handsome, powerfully built dog with a large, broad head and deep chest. But don’t let his size fool you: Bear is a very sweet, gentle dog with excellent manners and a generally mellow disposition. Bear is very friendly and responsive to people, and eager to please. He already knows “sit” and does a very nice job of walking calmly on a leash without pulling. Labs are typically intelligent, responsive, and obedient, which makes them one of the easiest breeds to obedience train. Bear gets along with some other dogs but has had compatibility issues with certain other dogs; before adopting him out to a home with existing dogs it will be necessary to check for compatibility. Bear had surgery for an old fractured hip and had a back leg amputated becuase the damage was too severe to fix. He is healed and ready for adoption! He's just as fun and fast as the other dogs! He gets along just like a dog with 4 legs! The Labrador Retriever has long been the most popular dog breed in the U.S. because of its friendly, easy-going nature and adaptability to most environments. Labs are good natured, loving, and loyal dogs that make wonderful family pets. They love to join in with a wide range of activities, and thrive on companionship and affection from their loved ones. They are well-suited to both inexperienced and experienced dog owners, but do require regular exercise. Bear is a “gentle giant” of a yellow Lab who will make a wonderful friend and companion for almost any kind of household. Interested in adopting this pet?
