December 2015 - Callie is on our website as a "Courtesy Listing" for a loving family that asked for our help finding a new home for her two cats - Callie and Pinkey - so please call the owner for more information if you're intersted in adopting.  As the owner's health has deteriorated, she just cannot physically care for the cats any longer.  Callie has lived her whole life (9 years) with this family, and we are hoping someone will open their hearts and homes to her and welcome her into their home!

She is a very loving cat and would love a warm lap to cuddle up on.  She is a little more shy than her sister Pinkey, and may take a little bit to warm up to her new familiy, but once she knows she is safe, her current owner says she is very friendly and seeks attention.  Callie does get along fine with other cats, dogs and has been around visiting children.  She is front declawed, and really just wants someone to love her and she will certainly return the affection.  Callie has received regular vet care her whole life, and her current owner is willing to make sure if she isn't up to date on all her vaccines, that she will be.  If you could give Callie the new home she needs and deserves, please call her owner Barb Dennler (Williamsburg, Iowa) at: 319-668-1979
