Ava is a sweetie, plain and simple.  She loves to give kisses if you let her, and hasn't met a person she doesn't like.  She was found near Kinze Mfg and came to us as a stray picked up by the Sheriff.  Volunteers are working with her on walking on a leash and on simple commands.  She has lots of energy, so it does take a little while to get her to settle down; but with training, she should make someone a great dog!

She spent one Sunday afternoon with us at Petco enjoying meeting everyone who came through the door (both people and dogs) with a real interest in them acting like she thought they surely must want to be her friend.   She is the picture of happiness when someone responds to her wagging tail with a friendly word.
