Description:
Meet Blessing, a beautiful 8 year old gray tabby looking for a loving, forever home. She is the rescued “child” of a terminally ill man, currently in the care of Iowa City Hospice. His greatest concern is the future welfare of his beloved cat, and would like the peace of mind of knowing she has a forever home. She was rescued here in Iowa back in 2006, and her owner suspects she was abused by children, so she does not do well with “little people”. She is skittish about close contact, although she has recently taken to snuggling with her owner (see picture below). He cautions, however, that she is “hard to get to know” so patience and consistency will be key.
