Safe Haven of Iowa County

Alfie was with us previously when he was found hanging around the Williamsburg High School.  It is ironic he was there since he does not seem to like small children, but maybe high-schoolers are ok in his book.   When he was in a home he seemed to be very pushy  about who was acceptable company at the home and would likely need to have a time-out room/crate when visitors arrive.   His previous owner tells us he is a real snuggler and that she brushed his teeth for him regularly without any issue.   He must just be very picky about who he trusts.

He was timid when he first arrived at Safe Haven but is getting used to having different people handle him.  He loves to be carried, so we suspect he enjoyed this in his past life.
