Hi, my name is Weston. (The nice people at Safe Haven gave me that name). Here is my story. My two buddies, Wade and Whoppie, and I were dumped at a rest stop along I-80. We really didn't know what we were going to do being left alone like that. I was only six months old and kind of scared.
But some nice people picked us up and eventually we came to stay at Safe Haven. Wade was adopted right away. Whoopi was also recently adopted. So I'm hanging out with my buddies at Safe Haven, looking for our forever homes. I'm working on walking on a leash, on not jumping up, and on the sit command. I'll keep working hard on these things every day until some lucky people (maybe you) come to take us to our forever homes.
Cat test: We take the dogs into one of the cat rooms for the cat test, and Weston barked at the kitties while backing away. So he may be scared of them and may need some work to feel comfortable around them.
