We are still getting to know this beauitiful girl as she came in as an unclaimed stray who happened to be seen chasing sheep on several occasions, but we can tell you she seems to love human attention, including belly rubs! She spent an overnight with one of our volunteers and did not have any accidents in their home and also whined at the door when she wanted to potty. They also learned there that she seems intensely TOO interested in cats, so she will not be adopted to a home with felines, sorry. She enjoys walks and being outside, even in the cold (she is a husky after all!) so we are seeking an active family that will enjoy taking her on leashed walks with them. She seems as though she may have a bit of wanderlust if off leash, and for the safety of cats and running farm animals, she needs a responsible owner that will keep her out of trouble. We do not yet know how she does with other dogs. We'll add more information as we get to know her better.
