Pedro is an extremely sweet, good-natured, and intelligent Siberian Husky mix in the prime of his life. Friendly and affectionate, Pedro loves attention and will sit still to be petted for as long as you’re willing to pet him.

Pedro arrived at Safe Haven already knowing “sit,” “lie down,” “shake hands,” and “roll over,” and we are working on improving his loose-leash walking skills. But Pedro’s not all business: he’s also playful and fun-loving, and enjoys cooling off in a kiddie pool in the summer and rolling around on his back and getting his belly scratched. Pedro loves going places in the car, jogging, and stuffed animals.

Pedro is well-socialized, gets along very well with a wide variety of other dogs, and does just fine with cats. Pedro becomes very attached to his caregiver and wants to be wherever you are, almost all of the time. He’ll be happiest with a very loving and attentive caregiver who’s as devoted to Pedro as Pedro will be to them.

Although far less important than temperament and behavior, Pedro is also an extremely handsome dog: his beautiful, sky-blue eyes are probably his most striking feature. You’ll be the envy of all dog-lovers when you proudly parade Pedro around your neighborhood!

Pedro is an exceptionally fine dog who would make a wonderful addition to just about any household. He certainly deserves the very finest life has to offer!
