 This little guy is just a sweetheart when a volunteer is spending time alone with him and giving him attention.   He has a charming ability of being able to stand by your chair and gaze up into your eyes with his four feet on the floor one second and then in one clean jump be perfectly balanced on your lap.    However, bring another dog into the picture and you have a big ferocious repetitive bark in a little bouncing body.   It doesn't seem to be just a jealousy bark.   I think he just is not very open to making doggy friends.  

He came to us as a stray when a rural mail carrier found him in a ditch.   She has taken good care of him while waiting for us to have room for him and really wants what is best for him.   She realized between work and her other interests he was just not getting enough love and attention.  However, she must have been able to spend a considerable amount of time with him because he is a perfect little companion willing to lay at your feet or, even better, on his back on your lap for a tummy rub.   Don't let that mislead you, though, he is a very active little guy with an enormous amount of energy.
