Chocolate Labrador Retriever (short coat) : : Female
Marie is a very sweet and gentle Chocolate Lab who loves to be with people. She’s a calm, mature dog who knows how to behave and would be great with kids or just about any kind of household. She also gets along very well with other dogs. Marie was found in a new subdivision south of Marengo, taken to the pound, and never claimed. She arrived at Safe Haven on June 17. She was spayed and vaccinated on June 27 and is ready for a good, permanent home. Marie is a highly intelligent, easily trainable dog who already knows basic commands like “sit” and walks magnificently on a leash. The Labrador Retriever is the most popular dog breed in the U.S. because of their friendly, good-natured, easy-going temperament.
