Ellie Mae is a friendly dog that is just so happy to be with any of our volunteers at Safe Haven. She is turning out to be a real favorite with the volunteers and people wherever we take her for little visits. The amazing thing about her is that she makes each volunteer feel like they must be HER favorite. She is such an easy going dog that gets along well with others. Don't let her being "middle aged" fool you - this girl can play like a puppy with other dogs that she likes! Ellie Mae came into Safe Haven as a stray through the pound, and looks like she has had a litter of pups in the past. She has shown us all that hounds can be wonderfully loving dogs and still like to do their thing with their noses to the ground. She has been spayed and is ready to go to her new home!
