Look at this cutie! We were initially a little concerned about this boy when he came into the shelter as he's not comfortable with strangers, but he's coming out of his shell beautifully. He does seem more comfortable with women than men. Walker came to us as an unclaimed stray and we are still getting to know him. Because he does seem guarded at first, we would recommend at this time that he not go to a home with small children. He does love our teenage girl volunteers, though! Once he knows you he will roll over on his back to have his tummy rubbed. He wants to be a little cuddly dog, but has a reputation as a terrier to uphold. His name really should be Trotter, rather than Walker, because he just does not slow down on a walk.
