Meet adorable Lady! Lady was born 12/14/13. Lady was raised by a loving family in a busy home with other pets and children. Her mother was a purebred shihtzu, and her father was an almost pure shihtzu with just a dash of schnauzer thrown in. She has been well taken care of and socialized from the start, but she is the shyest little sweetie of the litter. Lady's family needed some help finding her a good home and getting her mother and older sister spayed. We agreed to take Lady into our foster care program and pay to have her mother and sister spayed, and will use the proceeds of the babies adoptions to do so, thus the higher adoption fee on Lady and her now adopted brother Noah. Lady has been vet checked and is healthy. She has had her first shots (on 3/16/13), been dewormed, frontlined, and microchipped. Her adopters will be responsible for her booster shots (will be due 4/16/13), her rabies shot, and her spay when she is a little older/bigger. We will remain in contact with her adoptive family to ensure this is completed as these babies are not to be used for breeding purposes.
Potential adopters must keep in mind that Lady is just a baby. She needs an adopter that has patience and the time to work with a puppy on housetraining, socializing, etc. We anticipate getting a lot of interest in Lady and and will try to match her with the best fit. As Lady is the shyest of her siblings, she would do best in a home with other calm, sweet dogs, and calm, gentle mannered people.
