Meet Harley, the perfect little addition to your family! Harley came to us from a situation after just weaning a litter of puppies. The family owned many dogs, and Harley was about to get "in trouble" again! Luckily when a couple of her suitors got into a terrible fight over her, the family agreed to give her up to rescue as they had way too many dogs to afford to spay/neuter all of them, and were even having trouble feeding all of them. Harley is glad to be on her way to living in a more peaceful home. She is sweet as can be, gets along great with everyone she meets, including children, cats, and other dogs. She does not seem to have an aggressive bone in her body. She was given a yummy roast bone to chew on for a short time and she showed zero aggression when she was handled while chewing on it, which is pretty impressive! She is a tad shy when first introduced to people, particularly men, but she warms up very quickly with kind words and some lovin'. She walks fairly well on a leash. She is quite small and petite, lab mix is really just a complete guess as so many mixes seem to have at least a bit of lab in them. She is more the size of a leggy beagle. It is unknown whether Harley is housetrained, however, she does keep her kennel clean even being let out only about 3 times a day for walks/play/socializing. I cannot say enough nice things about this girl. If you are looking for a ready made family member, this is the girl for you!
