Gretel and her brother, Hansel, came in to our rescue on 2/17/12. These 2 little pups were rescued after having spent the first part of their lives surviving under a trailor - thank goodness it's been a relatively mild winter or these little one's would not have made it. We know their momma to be a little rat terrier mix (who we will be helping to get spayed!), but daddy was clearly something a little bigger, possibly the lab mixes on the same property. We think they will be medium sized dogs when full grown. Gretel was a bit more timid at first, but still very curious about her new surroundings. She has now come to trust all the volunteers and has come out of her shy puppy shell. She is doing great, and with some love and patience she will be a wonderful addition to a new family.
