Little Hansel and his sister, Gretel, came in to our rescue on 2/17/12. These 2 little pups were rescued after having spent the first part of their lives surviving under a trailer - thank goodness it's been a relatively mild winter or these little guys would not have made it. We know their momma to be a little rat terrier mix (who we will be helping to get spayed!), but daddy was clearly something a little bigger, possibly the lab mixes on the same property. We think they will be medium sized dogs when full grown. Hansel, is the more outgoing of the 2. His little tail thumps, thumps, thumps when he sees people coming. He was raised around other dogs and cats and appears to be great with both. Please consider giving Hansel an adoptive or foster home. Shelters are no place for puppies to grow up!
