Daisy Mae came to Safe Haven with 4 other Shih Tzu's from a breeder that is retiring. They contacted Safe Haven and asked for help trying to find good homes for their 5 registered Shih Tzu's, as they were no longer able to provide the amount of care the dogs require. Daisy Mae is still waiting for her turn at the groomer, and then she will be so cute she will certainly steal your heart! We will be sure to update her pictures as soon as she is groomed! Daisy Mae is 6 years old and is so full of life. She seems very social and loves everyone she meets! We can't wait to get her groomed, and she will be spayed on 2/29/12 - so she will then be ready to go! Please note, Daisy Mae is not housetrained, as she has not been living in a house but rather in a kennel facility in a large pen where she always had outdoor access. In this kennel set-up she does do her business outside. Please do not apply for Daisy Mae if you do not feel you have the time, patience, or ability to housetrain a dog.
