Brandi is a beautiful Rough Sable Collie whose owner, Marcia, sadly has realized that she just can't give Brandi all the care and interaction that she deserves. Her owner has asked for help finding her a new home. At this time please contact Marcia at 319-325-6013 if you are interested in Brandi. She is not a Safe Haven dog, we are only listing her as a courtesy in hopes that Brandi can find a perfect new home!
Below is a letter from Marcia regarding Brandi:
Brandi is really a great dog. She is going to be 2 years old in May. She gets excited with new people but settles down quickly. She is a creature of habit. She loves to herd other dogs around the yard and keeps them out of my flower beds. She will chase birds and swats bumblebees with her nose. She gets a little anxious at thunderstorms and can hear them coming before you do. She always has to have the last say, she runs outside and barks back at the thunder jumping in the air.
She is house trained. She does not go on the furniture even when you leave for a while. She does not chew on anything except her bones. She does like to sleep in her kennel. What she needs is a good home with other animals to play with for companionship.
