Schatzi is in a foster home with Kimberly Buresh. Please contact me ( kgb@iowatelecom.net ) with any questions or if you would like to meet Schatzie. Schatzi is a great little dog - she looks like a young puppy, but the vet says she is probably 2 years old. She came into our local pound with another Safe Haven dog - Heidi - and they are both in foster care together. Schatzi has such a fun, calm, loving personality and with that cute little face she will be sure to warm anyone's heart. Schatzi loves everyone she meets and enjoys going for walks. She seems a little too interested in chasing my 3 barn cats, so I think a home without cats may be best for her. We aren't too sure what she is mixed with, but the vet said probably a lab crossed with a Sheltie - she does those cute tipped ears and four white feet with a black spot in the middle of her tail. She is just the perfect size and would make a great addition to any family! *update - 3/20/11* We took Schatzi to an adoption event at PETCO and she did great!
