Mac and his litter mates were found in a ditch in Cedar Rapids at about 2 weeks old with no mother. They all fought for their lives with the help of a foster human mom and are now very healthy, sweet, affectionate, playful puppies. Mac loves to play with all his brothers and sisters, but is also happy to sit on your lap and watch. UPDATE: This week of Feb. 1, 2011, Mac is 24 weeks old and about 55 pounds. He is one of six puppies found in a ditch at about 2 weeks of age without a mommy and raised by a human foster mom. At 12 weeks, I took over care for the six pack of pups. Mac is a sweet boy who enjoys a nice cuddle and kisses. He also loves playing with his sister Delaney and my own silky terrior as well as other foster dogs that have visited us. Mac shows curiosity towards my outside cats but they let him know they aren't interested in playing with him. Like many puppies, Mac enjoys chewing on sturdy chew toys. Mac was timid about going outside on a leash at first, but now enjoys exploring beyond the front door. Mac is up to date on shots and has been neutered and microchipped. At full size, there is no doubt Mac will be a big doggy but hopefully you can still find room in your heart and home for him! Come meet Mac and I'm sure you will fall in love with this sweet boy.
