Description:
Other Pictures of Delaney (click to see larger version):Delaney and her litter mates were found in a ditch in Cedar Rapids at about 2 weeks old with no mother. They all fought for their lives with the help of a foster human mom and are now very healthy, sweet, affectionate, playful puppies. Delaney is a swee and active puppy that love to play with all her brothers and sisters, but is also happy to sit on your lap and watch. UPDATE: This week of Feb. 1, 2011, Delaney is 24 weeks old and 46 pounds. She is one of six puppies that were found in a ditch at about 2 weeks of age without a mommy and raised by a human foster mom. At 12 weeks, I took over care for the six pack of pups. Delaney is a calm, loving girl. She and her brother Mac often take turns sitting on my lap for kisses and cuddles. Delaney also loves playing with her brother and my own silky terrior as well as other foster dogs that have visited us. Delaney shows more interest in what my outside cats may be eating than actually playing with them, but has never been aggressive towards any of them. She is an eager walker on leash and would love someone to run with her. Like most puppies, Delaney enjoys chewing on sturdy chew toys. She is up to date on shots and has been microchipped. Delaney is scheduled to be spayed Feb. 8th. While Delaney most likely won't grow to the size of her brothers, she may be a larger dog. Hopefully, you might still find room for her in your heart and home!
