Description:
Gordy is a very loving dog. He is happiest to be by your side or near you to see what you are doing. In my months with Gordy, he has never bared his teeth or growled at anyone or anything. Gordy is interested in cats but not aggressive. He is good with other dogs but his excitement sometimes seems to be fueled by other energetic dogs. Gordy is good with kids. He calmly "kisses" my 4 year old son but we are still working on jumping. Gordy is just so happy to be loved he needs to understand humans don't like being jumped on especially little humans. :) Gordy loves to play fetch with toys and responds to sit but not yet stay. He also enjoys a daily brushing/ belly rubbing and walk/ run. Gordy may look like a larger dog but is actually mid sized and even seems to enjoy being picked up for hugs. Currently, Gordy is not house trained but seems that he would not be difficult to train as he keeps his crate and fenced area clean and reserves that for walk times.
