Safe Haven of Iowa County

Patrick is a great big black lab that has so much to offer!  He loves kids and could play fetch all day long.  He has great manners, and already knows some basic obedience.  He loves other dogs and seems to be easy going.  He is a big boy weighing in at 92 pounds.  We are still working at his leash manners as he tends to get  excited as we start our walks, but once he settles down he pulls less. 

Patrick was able to attend an adoption event at Petco on March 21st and he was excellent!  He loved getting all that attention and he made so many new friends.  He is just a big teddy bear waiting for someone to take him to his forever home! 

Patrick is now in a foster home and is doing great. He is such an easy dog to have. He has settled down and seems to be very calm and is so easy going. Patrick just wants to please you, he loves the water and likes to go for rides. It is so hard to understand why such a nice dog ended up at our shelter.
