My name is Maverick. I would do anything to be a part of your family! I love being outside, going for long walks, and I miss having a family. I love other dogs but really love people. I was found roaming near Walford, Ia and picked up by an Iowa County resident and taken to the county pound where I was all alone. Flyers were put up, newspaper adds taken out and my family never came for me. My current family is a group of volunteers who love to come take care of me, spend time with me, and give me lots of exercise. I love my dog friends at the havens too. I love nothing more than having a good pal to play with. But what I really want is a family to share a home with that has a fenced yard and a warm cozy couch to lay on. If you like sharing hot dog pizza's and a warm blanket please come and meet me! Ps. I love to retreive and play in the water!
