Description:
Lucy, our sweet little momma Chihuahua, came to us with her puppy "Gus Gus". They were surrendered to our care as their previous owner was in the process of moving and couldn't take these little ones along. Lucy was in a home with school aged kids, as well as cats and another small male dog. Her previous owner said Lucy seems to get along better with male dogs, but didn't have much previous experience around female dogs. With proper introductions with other dogs & with potential adopters, Lucy appears to be a great little gal looking for her next person(s) to love. Lucy is bright - she is very alert & likes to jump up on your lap and know what's going on. She has been a great mother (quite protective!) to her pup, but is more than ready to begin her new life as a well-loved pet in her new forever home. Lucy has been brought up-to-date on her vaccinations, had her spay surgery, been microchipped, and started on monthly flea/tick & heartworm preventatives.
