Description:
Ava and her siblings Gable and Zsa Zsa were found as strays east of East Amana - roaming around the contryside wandering from farmhouse to farmhouse looking for food and shelter. After being spotted a few different times over a couple weeks, they eventually trusted one man enough to stick around his house and accept his help. These three kitties are estimated to be 1 year old, and definitely had a loving home together at some point, but for some reason found themselves needing rescued. Ava is a gorgeous medium haired tuxedo, and loves to cuddle and will quickly purr her way right into your heart. All three siblings still get startled easily at times, likely from living outside for a few weeks, but they thrived in their foster home for a couple weeks and completely seek love and affection. Ava is now at Safe Haven and available for adoption - we just know for sure that some lucky family will be adopting this lovely cat soon! If you are interested in meeting Ava, you can stop by the shelter on Saturday monrings from 10 to 12:00, or complete an online adoption application found on our website at www.wesavepets.com.
