Say hello to Aussie. A young lady wanting a family to love of her own. Her devotion to her leader is evident. She is a young and playful active dog A good dog is a tired dog. Crate training has begun, and is going well. 

Aussie loves kids, cats and most dogs.   She was adopted from Safe Haven when she was just a baby and returned by the family over a year later becuae she didn't fit into their life style anymore.  Whatever that means...So after being a stray as a tiny puppy, then growing up in a family she is now back at Safe HAven in a dog kennel.  Everytime you walk by her kennel she sits and whines for you to take her home.  This is NO PLACE for a sweet little girl to call home.   She is used to being in a home and deserves to be in one!

This is a sweet, young, and eager to please canine, who would excel at being a member of a family. Aussie loves to cuddle and to be scratched behind her ears.  She knows some basic commands and is obviously an intelligent dog.  She sits perfectly and waits for you to leash her up because she loves to go on walks!  She is working on her leash manners as she is full of energy and can't wait to get outside and burn it off.  Her inside manners seem very relaxed and laid back and she just waits for us to come give her attention!!  She is a great dog and quickly becoming a favorite of many volunteers.
