Meet Rayne! This beautiful young gal was brought to us via the Iowa County Sheriff's Office through the Iowa County Pound. She was found near North English. After her owner decided she deserved a better suited home, she has been added to the Safe Haven family! Rayne is a typical German Shepherd - one who is a bit unsure of strangers & her new environment at first, once she warms up and is comfortable she is a very sweet & loyal girl. She is very food/treat motivated and appears to know how to 'sit' well for treats. Being a young (6-7 months old) girl, Rayne will need a home with patience, experience, and the understanding of the time commitment that puppy training and obedience can take. Any basic obedience skills that a young puppy would need to flourish into an adult would be appropriate for Rayne as well. Rayne has been spayed, microchipped, brought up-to-date on her vaccinations, and given her monthly flea/tick & heartworm preventatives - so she is ready to begin her search for her forever home!
