Meet Birdie! This sweet gal came to us as a stray found near North English. After never being reclaimed, Birdie is ready to begin looking for her forever home as a Safe Haven furry member! The vet estimates Birdie is a Hound mix .....maybe with Lab or even Rottweiler - who knows?! We just know she is a big, happy goofball, estimated to be just over a year old, so she still has lots of puppy-like energy to burn. Being a typical coonhound (mix), Birdie is known to have her nose to the ground and enjoys all of the outdoors to explore!

Birdie is working on her manners including leashing training, potty training, etc. and will need a home that has the time & patience to continue on these important skills as she continues to age into her beautiful self.  She has made several dog friends whiile at Safe Haven, so if you are looking to add a young, fun-lovig, adventure seeking gal to your pack at home,  - Birdie may be the perfect addition! 

Birdie has been spayed, microchipped, brought up-to-date on her vaccinations, and given her monthly flea/tick & heartworm preventatives - so she is ready to begin her search for her forever home!
