Safe Haven of Iowa County

Axel came to us as a local owner surrender after his previous owner wasn't able to continue caring for him. His previous owner let us know that Axel does well with other dogs, most all people, and cats - he is all around a good boy! Since his arrival to Safe Haven, he has been doing a really good job of keeping his kennel tidy & clean - a few accidents here and there in a new environment are much expected! He seems to love being outside and thoroughly enjoys his longs walks - AND he has been doing really well on a leash. 

Beinig a young energetic boy - Axel would benefit greatly from an active household. Several long walks daily, a large fenced yard to play, he may even enjoy another canine friend to play with?! He has been doing really well with the neighboring dogs - he doesn't seem bothered by them one bit. If you think Axel may be a good fit for your household - please contact us!
