Description:
Newman is a happy, good-looking, very sweet, and fun-loving boy. His tail is wagging most of the time. He is very playful. and loves attention, playing with his toys and/or other dogs, and just being with people. He likes to be close to you and petted, brushed, held, or allowed to just sit by you on the couch.
He appears to be pretty smart guy and has learned to sit and lie down, and is working on come and stay. He does fairly well on leash and truly loves to go for walks. I think he would be fine walking with a little practice. He is house trained and if someone is home, is allowed to have the run of the house. However, he needs to be monitored as he is very curious and can be mischievous. He is kenneled at night and is fine with this as long as he is in someone's bedroom. He needs to be kenneled if left home alone.
Newman loves to run, wrestle, chase balls and play (he actually wiggles and dances when called) and our fenced-in yard is perfect for him. He needs a lot of exercise and if no fenced in yard is available for him, frequent visits to a dog park and lots of walks would also work.
