Other Pictures of Sasha (click to see larger version):Wonderful Dog to have in Any home: I had a great opportunity to have a home visit with Sasha and she was an AMAZING guest in our home. Sasha is 2-3yr old Malamute mix who wants nothing but to be loved. She is a big lap dog. She will curl up next to you and sleep by your side. She gets along beautifully with other dogs, cats, and children including babies. She LOVES to give kisses to my toddler. She kept her kennel cleaned and would even kennel up when asked. She NEVER showed an aggressive side. She does walk well on a leash, but doesnt really like to be alone outside and will bark if she knows you are home inside. More or less saying "I want to be where you are". She will lay by you where-ever you are at. She just wants to keep her eyes on you. She knows sit and has known shake and lay down but hasnt been practiced in a while. You know she knows the command you just have to remind her. She does bark for a few moments when kenneled but she quiets down after just a few minutes. I believe she would do okay left alone in the house to have free roam, but I have yet to try this. She was just here at my home as a visitor, just so she could have a stay outside of the shelter, and so we could see her habits and what nots in a home environment. I wish she could remain in our home but I have too many other pets at this time and my husband agreed to a home visit and not long term. She would be a wonderful addition to any family and a GREAT dog for any owner. Interested in adopting this pet? Please click the adoption info link for more information.
