Safe Haven of Iowa County

This big handsome fella came to Safe Haven on June 20th, 2022 via Iowa County Sheriff's Office where he was found as a stray. He was never claimed, so is now available to a new loving forever home. He has been named "Leonard" by Safe Haven volunteers and staff, which seems to fit his loving and quirky personality well! He is a very sweet boy, ready to please. Although he is estimated to be a couple years old, he will need a home that is willing to be patient and help him learn and grow appropriately. A few things he may need to learn are housebreaking, walking on a leash, and other obedience skills. 

When arriving to the Iowa County Pound, Leonard was full of ticks. These have been removed and treated with flea/tick preventative - but he did test positive for Lyme Disease. He is on antibiotics for 30 days for the Lyme Disease which should be continued until the 30 days is completed. Leonard is ready to find his forever home any time now.
