Hal is the goofiest, sweetest, and most charming boy! He's a gentle old soul and has great manners. Hal has the most precious puppy face on a huge frame. Hal was originally adopted from us as a pup in 2019 after being found as a stray. He was so so loved by his previous family, but unfortunately he was recently returned. He couldn't get over his habit of killing chickens on their property. :-( He also repordedly chases cats and other small animals. Hal is good with dogs medium-large in size and loves every person he meets!


We have guessed Hal to be a plott hound/lab mix, but who knows! All we know for certain is that he is drop dead gorgeous. Hal walks well on a leash and loves to be outside--but equally enjoys lounging indoors! He does require outdoor supervision as he has jumped fences and loves to dig. He would gladly be your new hiking buddy!
