Entered post adoption: Barb was trying to get the blood results on Nessie. They found out Nessie has Cushing’s disease. Nessie poured on the charm while waiting patiently in the car. Dr. Hankner was going to come back and officially adopt her on Saturday (most likely)but she decided to take her home now and start Nessie on Cushing’s medicine. Dr. Hankner already has an elderly dog with Cushing’s. She is going to take Nessie to work with her tomorrow and get some chest x-rays, etc. Nessie also has a significant heart murmur. I told her if there was any doubt I would come and get Nessie. |
