Description entered after the fact: The adopter actually paid a rehoming fee to a woman who claimed to be working with local rescue groups in Poweshiek County. Adopter's mother had witnessed lack of care that concerned her and made her think it was a hoarding situation. When Bear was roaming loose adopter approached the 'owner' and reached a purchase price with her and brought Bear to us. But, she contacted us before the end of the day and said that she and her bf wanted to adopt him.i |
