Description:
Entry after adoption: Waylon was reported living on one of the "Holden Migrant camp farms" north of Millersburg in the early summer of 2019. Repeated attempts to trap him failed even though we were able to get within 15 feet of him. He understood that the trap was something he needed to avoid going inside of even though he would sniff all around it and eat all the goodies in the trail leading up to the trap. Even after getting trapped (just before a terrible cold spell of weather) he took his time in warming to volunteers and did not really blossom while at the shelter. When he went to his new home with a doggie friend (Dutch-an alum) he finally started reaching out to touch his 'mom' and learned the joy of lying on a couch.
